Entry Requirements

Possess a recognized masters degree or
Possess a recognized executive masters degree or
Other recognized equivalent qualification or
And with relevant working experience

Duration

16 Months/ 4 Semester

Entry Requirement To Complete The DBA:

Submit compilation of research-based written-work with minimum 30,000 words
Defend the submission (scholarly work in the form of research paper, previous publication or portfolio) in front of a panel of expertise consisting of both internal and external examiners from IBSS (oral examination)
Demonstrate that the scholar has thoroughly and critically investigated specific area of research and made an independent and original contribution to the existing body of knowledge as well as professional practice

Admission Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50, and a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience and Pass the evaluation on personal statement demonstrating knowledge, skills, experience, and achievement related to the programme; OR
A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) as accepted by the Senate; OR
Other equivalent/related qualifications to Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
Pass APEL A-T7.

Additional requirement for entry qualification in non-related field:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience and Pass the evaluation on personal statement demonstrating knowledge, skills, experience, and achievement related to the programme; OR
Pass additional pre-requisite courses/bridging.

The Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) A entry requirements:

More than 30 years of age in the year of application; and
Possess relevant work experience; and
Possess at least an STPM / accredited Diploma / equivalent qualification(s); and
Passes the APEL.A assessment for Master’s level.

English proficiency requirement: (For International Applicant)

Achieve a minimum Band 4 in MUET; OR IELTS Band 6; OR TOEFL iBT score of 6.0 (equivalent to CEFR Mid B2).
